What is BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) and how does it work?
BaZi, also known as the Four Pillars of Destiny, is a sophisticated Chinese astrological system that translates a person's birth year, month, day, and hour into four distinct pillars. Each pillar is represented by a Heavenly Stem and an Earthly Branch, creating a unique matrix of eight characters (hence 'Ba' meaning eight, and 'Zi' meaning characters).
It functions as a blueprint of the cosmic energies (yin, yang, and the Five Elements) present at the exact second you drew your first breath. By analyzing how these elements interact—whether they generate, control, or exhaust each other—a trained metaphysics master can decipher your character, potential, career path, relationship patterns, health tendencies, and luck cycles.
Unlike Western astrology which is solar-based or Vedic astrology which focuses on star constellations, BaZi is deeply synchronized with the traditional Chinese solar calendar (Hsia calendar) and the cyclical flow of the Earth's natural seasonal energies.
